Skills Contest

1) CURVING THE BALL INTO THE NET ( SCORING SKILLFULLY)

TASK:
Shoot the ball from the goal line, or 1m or 3m from the goal line into the goal.
Place the ball on either side of the penalty box 18 yds (16.5m) and choose the
Angle.
Three tries.
Point distribution:
Goal line: 20 points
1 Metre: 15 points
3 Metres: 10 points

Maximum points: 60


2) DRIBBLING (DRIBBLING WITH SKILL)

TASK:
Start with the dead ball 4metres away from the square:
Dribble the ball with feet through the corner flags (three), make a wall pass
Against the wooden bench (max, 30cm high) , collect the ball and proceed
Through the 2metre gate, around the next two cones and then pass the
Ball through the 1m gate, run around the gate and collect the ball on the
Other side of the gate and run through the finish line.
Two tries.
Best time will count
Point distribution:
Under 20 seconds : 60 points
20 to 22 seconds: 50 points
23 to 25 seconds: 40 points
26 to 28 seconds: 30 points
27 to 30 seconds: 20 points
30 & more sec.: 0 points



3) BALL JUGGLING

TASK:
To keep the ball from touching the ground by using head, thigh and foot.
The player starts by throwing the ball with the hand in the air.
Two tries.
The best try will count
Every contact with the ball will count 1 point
Maximum points: 60

Note: players 10 years and younger are allowed to let the ball tough the ground
Once between touches.



4) SHORT PASS

TASK:
The player must play the ball with the inside of the foot against the bench
For 30 seconds. The distance between the player and the bench has to be
At least 5 metres. The ball can be controlled or played directly after each
Return. Only returns with the inside of the foot will count.
Points:
Each touch of the bench will amount to 3 points.
Maximum points: 60



5 HEADING

TASK:
Every player has three tries each from 5 metres distance for the lower and
Upper target area. The ball can touch the ground once before entering
The lower target area. The ball is being served from the side of the goal.
The server throws the ball with both hands from bottom to top (underhanded)
Points:
10 points for each successful completion.
Maximum points: 60


6) CHIPPING THE BALL INTO THE SQUARE

TASK:
The ball should be played with the inside of the foot (either one).
Every player has three tries to place the dead ball into the square.
13 years and younger: 20 metres distance
14 years and older: 25 metres distance
Points:
For each hit into the target: 20 points.
Maximum points: 60


7) PENALTY SHOOTING

TASK:
Shoot from the penalty spot into the goal. Top left and right corners have the highest
Points, centre bottom and top the lowest.
Six tries for each player.
Maximum points: 60
